Behind the Scenes of the Limited-Edition SEA26 ORCA Card
Get to know the artist and the story behind this collectible card.

There’s nothing Seattle-area transit riders love more than a special-edition ORCA card! To celebrate Seattle’s status as a host city in the 2026 World Cup, ORCA produced a limited-edition, promotional ORCA card which celebrates the excitement of the sport and the culture of the Pacific Northwest.
Led by King County Metro in partnership with 4Culture, this ORCA card was designed by local artist Alison Bremner. 4Culture is King County’s cultural services agency, providing funding and support for art, heritage, historic preservation, public art, and science and technology to help connect people throughout the region with cultural experiences.
About the Artist
Alison Bremner (Tlingit) is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Southeast Alaska and now based in King County. Working across painting, woodcarving, and digital media, her practice is grounded in Northwest Coast formline design and engages themes of continuity, identity, and humor, bridging traditional Tlingit visual language with the present.
Bremner studied with Tsimshian master carvers David A. Boxley and David R. Boxley, and is active in the ongoing revitalization and evolution of Tlingit art, language, and culture. In addition to her contemporary work, she creates pieces for traditional and ceremonial use within the Tlingit community.
Her work has been exhibited widely and is held in the collections of major institutions including the Burke Museum, Frye Art Museum, Portland Art Museum, and the British Museum.
The SEA26 ORCA Card

The SEA26 ORCA card, which is now available in limited quantities across Puget Sound, is a pocket-sized piece of art. It features a vibrant blue raven, a green whale-tail pattern inspired by the SEA26 brand, and multi-colored soccer balls. These elements are incorporated into Bremner’s formline and create a continuous sense of movement.
As Bremner says, “This card is meant to capture the joy and movement of soccer in the Pacific Northwest.” Before she was an artist, Bremner was a soccer player, making this collaboration even more significant.
27,000 of these special-edition ORCA cards were produced ahead of the tournament. These cards will be available to transit riders throughout the games, primarily distributed by agencies during events and at customer service locations. Everett Transit, King County Metro, Kitsap Transit, Sound Transit, ORCA, City of Seattle, and the World Cup Local Organizing Committee all have these collectible cards, so keep an eye on their pages to see how you can get your hands on one!
ORCA is excited to play a part in getting these incredible cards into the hands of transit riders, and we can’t wait to see them in use throughout the games and beyond. Now, it’s almost time to kick off a summer of community, culture, and pure fun. Let’s gooooo!
